Stanford University Libraries & Academic Information Resources (SULAIR) supports teaching, learning and research in disciplines pursued by the University, conducts operations and programs ranging widely across the information domain, and engages in global efforts to advance library services. - Digitization initiatives: book, map, and image scanning labs, media preservation lab, Parker on the Web, Google Book Search partnership

- Collection development: growing collections of print and electronic resources in all formats
- Learning spaces: 15 buildings with a variety of technology-enhanced spaces designed for individual study, collaborative work, and teaching
