Emulation-as-a-Service (EaaS) can simplify the provisioning of emulation for end-users’ needs without requiring them to install and configure complex toolchains on their devices.

It’s been more than two years now since I wrote my D-Lib paper JPEG 2000 for Long-term Preservation: JP2 as a Preservation Format. From time to time people ask me about the status of the issues that are mentioned in that paper, so here’s a long overdue update.

Jisc would like to invite you to take part in a survey on how you discover and use software in a work-related context. Findings from this survey will help us to better understand problems that the higher and further education sectors face in this area and what Jisc and its partner organisations might do to help.

My name is Krešimir Đuretec. I work as a project assistant at the Department of Software Technology and Interactive Systems, Vienna University of Technology with focus on SCAPE and BenchmarkDP projects. I am also pursuing a PhD at the same department.
